This article explains that assigning a language color to a React Nexus Device in the Customer Portal requires a Voice License and an existing channel. The language color helps organize device channels and language groups and is displayed on the device's LED while charging for easy identification of language groups. For more details, users can refer to related articles on channel creation and language assignment.

In this article, you will learn what the language colors signify for your React Nexus Device when they are assigned in the Customer Portal.

In order to assign a language, and language color, to a React Nexus Device, you will have to be a User with a Voice License. If you are not a User with a Voice License, please reach out to your Admin about licensing your User. You will also need to have an existing channel created. For more information on how to create a channel, please reference the article How to Add and Remove a Channel on the Customer Portal.

Assigning a language color to a React Nexus Device serves two purposes:

  1. It allows you to more easily organize your device channels, and language groups, through the Customer Portal.
  2. As your React Nexus Device is charging, the button LED will display the language color that was chosen for the device. This will allow you to easily determine which React Nexus Device's are part of which language group from an "at-a-glance" distance.
