Steps to Send a Voice Message to a React Device via the Customer Portal During an Active Alert:
- Navigate to the Customer Portal (https://portal.reactmobile.com) and login.
- Select the "ALERTS" tab on the left hand side of the screen.
- Click the active alert which will open a sidebar to the right of the screen.
- Once you click the alert, you will join the "Alert Channel" as a responder and you can hear all communications from the alert source device.
- The alert source device will become a "Hot Mic". "Hot Mic" can be interrupted periodically to send voice messages to user in need of help.
- At the bottom of the sidebar there will be a button that says 'Push to Talk'. Click and hold this button to send a voice message directly to the button, as well as anyone else on that channel.
- If the channel is "Busy", it means you can not interrupt the "Hot Mic" during that time. Please wait at least 5 seconds before trying to send a voice message to user in need of help.
