How to Enable a Voice License for a User

In this article, you will learn how to enable a voice license for a User in the Customer Portal.

 

A User must have a voice license enabled in order to use voice services on the Customer Portal, which includes:

  • Listening in on a panic button's "hot mic" during an active alert; and
  • Verbally communicating to a voice channel through the Portal.

How to Enable a Voice License for a User:

  1. Select the 'Users' tab on the left-side of the Portal.
  2. Select the 'Edit' button for the User you would like to provide the voice license to.
  3. Make sure the toggle for 'Voice license' is flipped to 'enabled'.

  4. Select 'Apply' to save any changes.
