How to Use Voice Translation With the React Mobile Hospitality Application

This article explains how to use voice translation in the React Mobile Hospitality Application. Users need a Voice License to access voice features and must set their device language first. Incoming voice messages are automatically translated into the selected language, and replies via the Push-to-Talk button are translated for all channel members based on their language settings.

In this article, you will learn how to use voice translation with the React Mobile Hospitality Application.

 

To access voice features on the React Mobile Application, you will have to be a User with a Voice License. If you are not a User with a Voice License, please reach out to your Admin about licensing your User. You can follow this link to learn more: Enabling a Voice License for a User.

The first step is to adjust your smart device language settings to your desired language:

How the Voice Communication Works:

  • Receiving Voice Messages: Once your language is selected, the React Mobile Hospitality Application will be translated into the language you chose. All incoming voice messages will come through translated in the language you selected.

  • Replying to Voice Messages: To reply, simply press and hold the teal Push-to-Talk button and speak. All person's in the channel will hear your message translated into the language they have programmed on their React Mobile Nexus Devices.
