In this article, you will learn how to use translation with your React Devices.

To use translation on a React Device, the React Device must first be added to a language group in a Channel. For instructions on how to assign a language to a React Device please reference the article: How Can I Assign a Language to a React Device?

To send a voice message from the React Device, simply press and hold the React Mobile logo button. Once you hear the Talk Permit Tone (TPT), the line is open and you are free to speak into the button in your native language. The communications will be processed and translated into the listener's chosen language for your channel. Release the React Mobile logo button once you are finished. You will hear the outgoing voice stop tone confirming the line is no longer open.

In the following example, you have three React Devices that are in the Housekeeping channel. 3 Devices in English, 2 in Spanish, 2 in French, and 2 in Turkish.

Devices that are fully charged will display the language color on the charger.
