How Can I Assign a Language to a React Nexus Device?

In this article, you will learn how to assign a language to a React Nexus Device.

In order to assign a language to a React Nexus Device, you will have to be a User with a Voice License. If you are not a User with a Voice License, please reach out to your Admin about licensing your User. You will also need to have an existing channel created. For more information on how to create a channel, please reference the article How to Add and Remove a Channel on the Customer Portal.

Steps to Assign a Language to a React Nexus Device:

1. Navigate to the Customer Portal (https://portal.reactmobile.com) and login.

2. Select the "CHANNELS" tab on the left hand side of the screen.

   

3. Click on the 'ADD LANGUAGE' option under the channel that you would like to add a language group for.

   

4. Select a language and color for your group. The color you choose will help differentiate which React Nexus Device is part of what group, as this will be the color the LED displays when the React Nexus Device is charging.

   

5. Select 'Add Language' once you are done. Tip: multiple language groups can be added per channel.
6. You can now add a React Nexus Device to your preferred, existing group based on the language that was assigned. For more information on how to add a React Nexus Device to a group, please reference How to Add a Device to a Group via the Portal.

Important: once your React Nexus Device is added to a group, the device will audibly state which channel it is connected to, as well as which language.
