In this article, you will learn how to check the battery life from the LTE/Wi-Fi Button.

You will need to perform a 'Health Check' on the LTE/Wi-Fi Button that will allow you to confirm its current battery life. For more information on a device health check, please consult the article Performing a Device Health Check with the LTE/Wi-Fi Button.

Steps for Health Checking the LTE/Wi-Fi Button:

Press the Side Button once and release quickly.

Once a health check is initiated, the backlit React Mobile logo is going to flash a series of colors to indicate different health metrics:

  • Battery level is indicated by the LED light, which will only appear once:
    • Green represents more than 40% charge remaining.
    • Yellow is more than 20% but less than 40% charge.
    • Red represents a 20% charge or less.
  • The battery lasts about 8 hours under normal usage. Repeatedly triggering alerts for test purposes and/or storing the devices in areas with low LTE coverage will drain the battery quicker.
