This article explains how to confirm a React Device is charging. When plugged in, the React Mobile logo lights solid green if the battery is over 40%, solid yellow between 20-40%, and solid red below 20%. Charging is confirmed by a magnetic connection, a charging tone, and LED color. A health check can be done via the device buttons to update battery status online.
In this article, you will learn how to confirm the React Device is charging.
While the device is plugged into a working charger, the React Mobile logo in the center of the device will be lit solid GREEN when it has a charge over 40%, and will show a solid RED when it is below 20%.
How To Confirm the React Device is Charging:
- Ensure the charging cable is plugged into an outlet or working charger.
- Be sure the magnetic prongs for the charger connect, or "snap", onto the button's charging connectors.
- Confirm you hear the battery charging tone, which resembles a dull guitar strum.
- When the button is connected to a charger, the React Mobile logo will be backlit by a color depending on the status:
- If the button's battery is dead when plugged in, the LED light will flash red several times.
- If the LED light is solid green, this indicates the device has over %40 battery and is charging.
- If the LED light is solid yellow, this indicates the device has between %20 to %40 battery and is charging.
- If the LED light is solid red, this indicates the device has less than %20 battery and is charging.
- You can perform a health check on the button by pressing and holding the side button and immediately tapping the main button once. This will refresh the 'Devices' tab on the online portal for you to review the updated battery level and health status for the device.
