The React Device uses backlit LED indicators to show status: solid white during reboot, flashing blue when WiFi and LTE are unavailable, and solid blue for network changes. In alert state, flashing red indicates an active alert without a responder, flashing blue and red with a responder, and solid green when resolved. Health checks show solid green (over 40%), yellow (between 20-40%), red (less than %20), depending on the battery, followed by network type (Green flashes for Wi-Fi and Blue flashes for LTE)
In this article, you will learn what the different LED indicators mean for the React Device.
The React Device will have a backlit React Mobile logo depending on the status of the React Device.
Standby State
Press and hold both buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. The device will announce that it is restarting with and audible "Power off" prompt. Press the side (function) button 5 seconds to power the device back on.
- SOLID WHITE - Device will display solid WHITE LED when it is powering up after a fresh reboot or restart.
- FLASHING BLUE - Device will flash a BLUE LED when the WiFi and LTE are both unavailable.
SOLID BLUE - Device will display SOLID BLUE for 5 seconds when there is a network change (WiFi to LTE or LTE to WiFi).
Alert State
To initiate an alert during an emergency, press the main button 5 times in rapid succession.
- FLASHING RED - Device will flash a RED LED while it is in an active alert state without a responder.
- FLASHING BLUE and RED - Device will flash a BLUE and RED LED when there is an active alert with a responder.
SOLID GREEN - When the alert is resolved, the LED will be solid GREEN for 5 seconds.
Health Checks
To complete the health check, press and hold the side (function) button and immediately tap the main (primary) button once, then release both. This will also update the "last check-in" time in the portal for the specific device.
GREEN – Device will display solid GREEN LED for 5 seconds if the battery is more than 40%.
YELLOW – Device will display solid YELLOW LED for 5 seconds if the battery is between 20% and 40%.
RED – Device will display solid RED LED for 5 seconds if the battery is less than 20%.
FLASHING GREEN – If the device is connected to Wi-Fi. 1 to 4 flashes depending on Signal Strength.
FLASHING BLUE– If the device is connected to LTE. 1 to 4 flashes depending on Signal Strength.
FLASHING PURPLE – If the device is not registered to an organization and the health check fails.
