The React Device has a high-capacity battery that lasts 36 hours on standby or 2 hours of talk time, and it charges fully in about 3 hours using a magnetic cable or a separate charging station. To charge, plug the cable into a power outlet, align the magnetic prongs with the device, and listen for the charging tone.

In this article, you will learn how to charge the React Device.

The React Device uses an internal, high-capacity battery which offers 36 hours of standby time, or 2 hours of continuous talk time. The device can be charged using the individual magnetic cable, or on the charging station (purchased separately). A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

Charging cables should have been provided along with your React Device. Please reach out to your Client Success Manager (CSM) immediately if additional cables are needed.

Steps for Charging the React Device:

  1. Please ensure the charging cable is plugged into an outlet or working charger before attempting to charge the device.
  2. Align the charging prongs from the cable with the metal charging points on the panic button.
  3. The charging prongs will magnetically connect and hold to the metal points on the button. If not, try realigning the charger at a different angle.
  4. Confirm you hear the battery charging tone, which resembles a dull guitar strum.
  5. When the button is connected to a charger, the React Mobile logo will be backlit by a color depending on the status.
