Then, restart by holding the side button for 5 seconds until the LED turns white, then blue, indicating it is ready. If powered down during an alert, the device restarts automatically.
In this article, you will learn how to power-cycle and/or reset the React Device.
Steps for Power-Cycling or Resetting the React Device:
- Make sure the device is powered on and charged.
- Press and hold down the main (primary) button and the side (function) button for 5 seconds.
- The LED will turn white and the device will say "Power off".
- The device will show a solid white light while it is powering down.
- After the button powers down, you will need to manually restart it by pressing and holding down the side (function) button for at least 5 seconds. The LED indicator will show white to indicate the button is powering on. Once the button is on, the LED will turn blue to confirming it has made a signal connection. At this point the React Device is on and ready to use.
Important: if a panic button is powered down while it is in an active alert status, the button will restart automatically.
