This article explains how to register React devices using the React Mobile Hospitality Application. Admin or Installer users must log in, access the SCANNER tab, change to SHOW BUTTONS, filter for "UNREGISTERED" buttons, and tap "REGISTER BUTTONS." After entering a prefix, select "REGISTER ALL" to register devices within Bluetooth range. Failed registrations will be shown, and devices can be renamed or assigned to channels later via the Customer Portal.
In this article you will learn how to register a React Device Using the React Mobile Hospitality Application.
To access the SCANNER tab in the React Mobile Hospitality Application, you must be an Admin or Installer User. If you are not a user with these permissions, please reach out to an Admin User.
To register devices, the devices must be charged and within Bluetooth range of your smart device.
- Login to the React Mobile Hospitality Application as an Admin or Installer.
- Go to the SCANNER tab.
On the top left corner of the screen, tap SHOW BUTTONS.
Tap the "ALL BUTTONS" filter and set it to "UNREGISTERED".
Tap "REGISTER BUTTONS" on the top right corner which will open a new screen. Read the instructions carefully and enter a Prefix.
- Select "REGISTER ALL".
- The application will process each device and register them to your Portal.
- If any device fails to register, it will be displayed on this screen. Please confirm the number of devices you are trying to register and the total that succeeded.
You are able to rename the devices after they have been registered by visiting the Customer Portal. This is also where you will assign devices to channels (if applicable).
