This article explains how Admin users can connect React Mobile LTE/Wi-Fi devices to Wi-Fi via the Customer Portal by adding SSID and password under Wi-Fi Networks in Settings. The network must use a single password without splash pages or enterprise login. Devices check in to connect automatically or can be manually health-checked by pressing the side and main buttons simultaneously, indicated by blue or green lights.

In this article, you will learn how to connect to Wi-Fi on the React Mobile LTE/Wi-Fi Device.

To access the Wi-Fi Settings, you will have to be an Admin User in your organization.

You can follow this link if you would like to know more about How to Access the React Mobile Customer Portal.

  1. Login to Portal as an Admin and go to "Settings" on top right corner of the screen.
  2. Find the section for "Wi-Fi Networks" and select "Add Wi-Fi"

The Wi-Fi network used by the buttons must be a single password with no secondary sign-in splash page or username/password enterprise network.

The next time your LTE/Wi-Fi Buttons check in with the Portal, they will try to connect to the added network if it's available. Alternatively, you can manually health check the device to check the connection:

  • Press the side button and main button simultaneously to perform the health check.

  • If the connection switches from LTE to Wi-Fi or vice versa, there will be a solid blue light for 4 seconds.

  • Once the connection is established, the device will flash green on Wi-Fi, or blue on LTE during the health check.
