The device switches to an alert channel, allowing licensed Responders to listen in without pressing the button. When Responders join, the LED flashes blue and red. Responders can communicate via Push-To-Talk, after which the device returns to 'hot mic' mode. Once resolved, the LED turns green, and the device returns to its home channel.

- The React Device LED will begin to flash BLUE and RED once a Responder joins the alert.
- At this time, Responders can evaluate the situation, and interrupt the 'Hot Mic' to communicate via Push-To-Talk with the React Device if necessary.
- After the Responder finishes their Push-To-Talk, the React Device will return to 'Hot Mic' status, allowing Responders to resume listening in on the device.

- Once Responders confirm the user is safe, they can resolve the alert via the online Portal or the mobile application.
- When the alert is resolved, the flashing RED LED for the React Device will stop, then change to a GREEN LED for 5 seconds. At this time, the device will disconnect from the alert channel, join back to its home channel, then resume its use as a radio.
