An Overview of the Different Types of Panic Buttons

In this article, you will learn to understand the different types of panic buttons offered by React Mobile.

Below are three distinct types of buttons you might encounter at a property supported by the React Mobile safety platform, listed in alphabetical order.

Bluetooth Panic Button

• This button must be paired with a smart device.
• Can be worn as a watch or used with a keychain.
• The panic button is battery powered and requires (1) CR2032 watch-style battery.
• We do have two versions of the bluetooth panic buttons; version 1 pictured to the left and version 2 pictured to the right.

Cellular/LTE Panic Buttons

• A handheld, stand-alone device. Featuring a clip and short chain for ease of use, it can be worn on the person to allow your staff members to discretely trigger a silent alert.
• Rechargeable battery via micro-USB port.
• Uses a cellular LTE-M connection via a nano SIM.

LoRa Panic Button

• Rechargeable battery.
• Can be worn as a watch or used with a keychain.
• Powered by the NORDIC NRF52840 chipset in conjunction with the Semtech LORAWAN Module.
• Showcases data on a 1.54-inch TFT screen with a 240*240 resolution.
• Device has 1MB FLASH storage.
• Weighs a mere 40g without the wristband.
