In this article, you will learn how to trigger an alert from the different types of panic buttons.

 

How to Trigger an Alert on a Bluetooth Panic Button (or Sidekick)

  • Press and hold the button in the center of the device for 3 seconds OR press it 3 times in rapid succession. 
  • It is important to note that a bluetooth panic button must be paired to a smart device to work. For more information, refer to the Operational Guide for the Bluetooth Panic Button (Sidekick) article.
  • Version 1 pictured below on the left and version 2 pictured below on the right.

How to Trigger an Alert on a Cellular/LTE Panic Button

  • Press and hold the grey button in the center of the device for 3 seconds OR press it 3 times in rapid succession. 
  • Once an alert is triggered, the LTE indicator in the top left corner of the device will begin blinking red to confirm it was successful.

How to Trigger an Alert on a LoRa Panic Button

  • Press and hold the red button on the side of the device for 3 seconds OR press it 4-5 times in rapid succession.
