How to Replace the Battery in a React2 Beacon

In this article, you will learn what is needed and how to replace the battery in an React2 beacon.

React2 beacons require (1) CR2477 battery.

1. Physically locate the beacon within the property, you can confirm the location of all beacons onsite via the Customer Portal under the "BEACON" tab.
2. Unscrew the cap of the beacon from the base, leaving the base attached to the surface it is installed on.
3. Once the top of the beacon can be pulled away from the base, use a pen or similar small tool to push the battery out of its compartment. You may also use your fingers.
4. Insert the new battery in to the device.
5. Return the cap to the base and screw it back on. Ensure it is securely tightened.
6. Verify the beacon is broadcasting via the React Mobile Hospitality application.
