In this article, you will learn how to respond to an alert on the React Mobile Hospitality Application.
All users with access to the application can view alerts; however, it is important to note that not all users will be able to respond to alerts. To change user permissions, refer to the How to Add, Edit and Remove Users article for assistance.
How to Respond to an Alert on the React Mobile Hospitality Application
- Login to the React Mobile Hospitality application from a smart device.
- After logging into the application, navigate to the "ALERT" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- If your system settings on your smart device are set up correctly, you will receive a push notification that when selected will open you to this tab when an alert is triggered.
- On the alerts tab, tap "I'll respond" on the active alert.
4. To resolve the alert from your mobile device, it is important to note that the smart device must have its Bluetooth settings enabled and connect to the same beacon as the alert source. To confirm the beacon that the alert source is connected to, refer to the location showing on the "Them" status at the top of the alert screen.
5. When the user is within range and reporting the same beacon location information on both "You" and "Them", an option to select "Alert is under control" will appear.
6. After selecting "Alert is under control", the user will have the option to select the reason for clearing the alert (i.e. "Guest Incident", "Staff Incident", "False Alarm", "Just Testing").
7. Once a reasoning is given, the user will be given the option to "Close alert." The alert will then be cleared from both the React Mobile Hospitality Application, Customer Portal and the Panic Button that the alert was initiated from.
If the user is unable to close the alert via the React Mobile Hospitality Application, refer to the How to Respond to an Alert on the React Mobile Customer Portal article for assistance.
