LED Lights When a Device is in Normal Operation

  • Idle and green flashing light every minute: Device is paired to a smart device and in an idle state.
  • Flashing green rapidly: Device is not paired to a smart device and will not be able to trigger an alert.
  • Slow flashing blue and green light: Device is attempting to be "located" by a smart device.

To conduct a health check, press the button one time. There will be two different indicators on the LTE button following the health check.

  • Initial flash:
    • Green: Battery charge is greater than 40%.
    • Yellow: Battery charge is between 20% and 40%.
    • Red: Battery charge is less than 20% and the panic button needs to be charged immediately.
  • Subsequent flash:
    • Cyan: Sidekick is paired to a smart device and the smart device is within range.
    • Purple: Sidekick is not paired to a smart device or the smart device is not within range.

LED Lights When Triggering an Alert

To trigger an alert, press the button three times in rapid succession or hold the button for three seconds. There will be several different indicators during the lifecycle of an alert.

  • Flashing white: Device is trying to initiate an alert.
  • Flashing red: Alert has been sent successfully.
  • Flashing red and blue: A Responder has elected to respond to the alert and help is on the way.
  • Solid green for 3 seconds: Alert has been resolved.
