In this article, you will learn to understand the different LED color indicators on a LTE/Cellular panic button.
LED Lights When a Device is in Normal Operation
- No light: Device is connected and in an idle state.
- Flashing white: Device is connecting to the LTE network. Usually prior to, or after, an alert.
- Solid blue for 3 seconds: LTE connection established. Usually after powering on the button.
- Flashing green: Downloading most recent firmware (note: alerts can still be fired during an update).
- Purple: Indicates an unregistered device.
LED Lights When Conducting a Device Health Check
To conduct a health check, press the button one time. There will be two different indicators on the LTE button following the health check.
- Initial flash:
- Green: Battery charge is greater than 40%.
- Yellow: Battery charge is between 20% and 40%.
- Red: Battery charge is less than 20% and the panic button needs to be charged immediately.
- Subsequent flashes:
- Aqua blue:0 to 4 flashes; 1 for each bar of LTE service at the current location.
LED Lights When Charging the Device
- Pulsing yellow: Device is charging.
- Solid green:Device is fully charged.
LED Lights When Triggering an Alert
To trigger an alert, press the button three times in rapid succession or hold the button for three seconds. There will be several different indicators during the lifecycle of an alert.
- Flashing white: Device is searching for LTE network connection.
- Flashing red: Alert has been sent successfully.
- Flashing red and blue: A Responder has elected to respond to the alert and help is on the way.
- Solid green for 3 seconds: Alert has been resolved.
