This article explains how to use voice translation in the Customer Portal, requiring a Voice License. Users select their language from a drop-down menu and choose a voice channel. Incoming voice messages play first in the sender's language, then translated. To reply, users press the teal Push-to-Talk button, and their message is translated for all channel members.
In this article, you will learn how to use voice translation with the Customer Portal.
In order to access voice features, you will have to be a User with a Voice License. If you are not a User with a Voice License, please reach out to your Admin about licensing your User. You can follow this link to learn more: Enabling a Voice License for a User.

Locate the language drop-down menu at the top-right corner of your screen, directly next to your profile avatar.
2. Click the drop-down arrow and select your language from the available options.
3. Select the voice channel you would like to send and receive communications from.
4. Once you select a channel, the Push-to-Talk button will turn teal, indicating the feature is active and ready to use.
How the Voice Communication Works:
Receiving Voice Messages: Once your language is selected, the Customer Portal will be translated into the language you chose. All incoming voice messages will come through twice: once in the sender's original spoken language, then immediately followed by the translated version in the language you selected.

Replying to Voice Messages: To reply, simply press and hold the teal Push-to-Talk button and speak. All person's in the channel will hear your message translated into the language they have programmed on their React Mobile Nexus Devices.
