How to Charge the React Mobile Nexus Device

The React Mobile Nexus Device features a high-capacity battery with 36 hours standby or 2 hours talk time. It charges via a magnetic cable or separate charging station, taking about 3 hours for a full charge. To charge, plug the cable into a power source, align the magnetic prongs with the device's metal points, and confirm the charging tone and React Mobile logo backlight. In this article, you will learn how to charge the React Mobile Nexus Device.

 

The React Mobile Nexus Device uses an internal, high-capacity battery which offers 36 hours of standby time, or 2 hours of continuous talk time. The device can be charged using the included individual magnetic cable, or on the charging station (purchased separately). A full charge from 0% takes approximately 3 hours.

Charging cables should have been provided along with your React Mobile Nexus Device. Please reach out to your Client Success Manager (CSM) immediately if additional cables are needed.

 

Steps for Charging the React Mobile Nexus Device:

  1. Please ensure the charging cable is plugged into an outlet or working charger before attempting to charge the device.
  2. Align the charging prongs from the cable with the metal charging points on the back of the panic button.
  3. The charging prongs will magnetically connect and hold to the metal points on the button. If not, try realigning the charger at a different angle.
  4. Confirm you hear the battery charging tone, which resembles a dull guitar strum.
  5. When the button is connected to a charger, the React Mobile logo will be backlit by a color depending on the status.
