Performing a Health Check on the React Mobile Nexus Device

In this article, you will learn how to initiate a health check on the React Mobile Nexus Device. 

Performing a health check will allow you to quickly assess the battery level and network coverage where you are.

Steps for Health Checking the React Mobile Nexus Device:

Press and hold the side (function) button and immediately tap the main (primary) button once, then quickly release both.

Once a health check is initiated, the backlit React Mobile logo is going to flash two series of colors to indicate different health metrics:

Phase 1 - Battery Level

• Battery level is indicated by the LED light, which will flash once: 
  • GREEN - more than 40% charge.
  • YELLOW - more than 20% but less than 40% charge.
  • RED - less than 20% charge.
• The battery lasts approximately 10 hours under normal usage. Repeatedly triggering alerts for test purposes and/or storing the devices in areas with low LTE/Wi-Fi coverage will drain the battery quicker.
   

Phase 2 - Network Coverage

• FLASHING GREEN – The device is connected to Wi-Fi (1 to 4 flashes depending on Signal Strength).
• FLASHING BLUE – The device is connected to LTE/Cellular (1 to 4 flashes depending on Signal Strength).

It is important to note: for a React Mobile Nexus Device to reflect a "Healthy" status on the Customer Portal, it must have:

• The most up-to-date firmware.
• Over 40% battery charge.
• AND the last check-in must be within the last 2 hours.
