How to Assign a React Device to a Channel on the Customer Portal

This article explains how to assign a React Device to a channel on the Customer Portal, requiring a User with a Voice License. Users must access the Channels Tab, create a Channel if none exist, then view the desired Channel Group. Devices can be added by selecting from available devices and clicking "ADD SELECTED." Each React Device can only have one Home Channel and can be moved using the same process.

To access the Channels Tab, you will have to be a User with a Voice License. If you are not a User with a Voice License, please reach out to your Admin about licensing your User.

  1. With a Voice Licensed User, go to the Channels Tab
    1. If you don't have any Channels, first create a Channel to assign React Buttons.
  2. Click "View" next to the Channel Group you would like to add your button to.

  3. This will show you the list of Devices that are already in the Channel.
  4. Click Add Devices.

  5. From the list of available devices, select the device/s you would like to add to the channel and hit "ADD SELECTED".

  6. Your device will be ready to send and receive Voice Messages into/from this Channel.
  7. Please note that a React Device can only have 1 Home Channel. You can also move a device following the same steps.
