How to Rename a Beacon in the Customer Portal

In this article, you will learn to rename a beacon in the Customer Portal.

Users with Admin and Installer roles can rename beacons in the Portal. To change user permissions, refer to the How to Add, Edit and Remove Users article for assistance.

How to Rename Beacons in the Customer Portal

1. Navigate to the Customer Portal (https://portal.reactmobile.com) and login as an Admin or Installer.
2. Select the “BEACONS” tab on the left hand side of the screen.
3. Search and select the beacon you wish to rename.
4. Select the beacon you wish to edit to view beacon details. Select "Edit Beacon Details."
5. Update the required fields accordingly.
   • It is important that you do NOT edit the manufacturer information.
   • The name field should include the exact placement of the beacon, as shown below.
6. Select "Confirm" once complete to save your changes.
