In this article, you will learn what information the Scanner tab on the React Mobile Hospitality application displays as it pertains to beacons.

When you navigate to the Scanner tab in the React Mobile Hospitality by default, all beacons onsite will show.

At the bottom of the screen, you will be able to filter what beacons are shown on this page.

The filters are explained below:

  • All Beacons (by default, this is what will display when navigating to this tab): This view displays every beacon currently registered in your system, regardless of status. Use this to get a complete overview of your deployment at a glance.

  • Nearby Beacons: Only shows beacons within range of your mobile device. Ideal when you are physically near beacons during installation, testing, or troubleshooting.

  • Missing Beacons: Flags beacons that were previously online but are no longer detected (Haven't been seen by one of our buttons for more than 7 days - Critical in Portal). These could be turned off, moved, or malfunctioning and worth investigating to maintain full coverage.

  • Low Battery Beacons: Lists beacons with low battery levels. This helps you proactively replace batteries and avoid sudden failures.
