In this article, you will learn how to integrate React Mobile with HotSOS on all of your alert sources or smart devices.
User needs access to both React Mobile and Amadues Service Optimization with Admin credentials. To change user permissions on the React Mobile Portal, refer to the How to Add, Edit and Remove Users article for assistance.
- Start with Registering the Mobile Device to React Mobile Portal.
- To do so, refer to the How to Register an Alert Source article for assistance.
- Remember the Device Name (in this example, we will use HSKP01).
- For the next steps, keep the React Mobile Hospitality application running in the background of your device.
- Login to the HotSOS Mobile Application with your user credentials or PIN. Remember the user credentials that are being used to login to the HotSOS Mobile Application (in this example, we will use Room Attendant Test).
- Make sure this User has a room that's assigned to him/her,
- Find the Room Assignment in the Mobile Application
- Select "Cleaning Started"
When a device is logged into HotSOS for the first time, HotSOS assigns a name to the device. The main objective here is to find 'What is the name of the device we are working with in HotSOS?"
- Set aside the Smart Device.
- From your browser, login to Amadeus with Admin credentials.
- Go to Configuration in the top left corner of the Amadeus platform.
- Navigate to "Personnel" on the left hand side of the screen and select "Devices." Under the "Received By" column, you want to locate the device by the User you logged in to on the HotSOS mobile application (in this example, we used Room Attendant Test).
- The device name and friendly name are generated by HotSOS. The integration between HotSOS and React Mobile uses this device name. It is important to ensure that the Device Name in HotSOS and in the React Mobile Portal match.
- Select the [device received by User you logged into HotSOS app] (in this example, we will continue to use Room Attendant Test).
- After selecting this row, click Edit on the top right corner.
- Match the Device Name and Friendly Name with the Device Name you entered while you were registering the device to the React Mobile Portal in Step 1 (in this example, we will again use HSKP01). It is important to note that HotSOS requires you to enter an Address to Edit the name; for this purpose, you may just enter a random character. Select Save.
-
Edit the device name if necessary. HotSOS console does not allow duplicates. If you can't save the new device name, check the devices lists for duplicates.

- Now that the Device name in the React Mobile Portal and HotSOS are matching, it's time to test the integration.
- Go back to React Mobile Hospitality application on the Smart Device and initiate an alert.
- When the alert is initiated, verify in the Customer Portal (https://portal.reactmobile.com) that you received the Username and Room Assignment from HotSOS, as shown below.
- Repeat the steps to configure all Smart Devices.
