In this article, we review what steps to take should your LoRa gateway become disconnected.
React Mobile Support monitors the network gateways installed for the LoRa panic buttons system. Should a unit be detected as offline, a member of the support team will reach out to you.
The first steps will be to unplug the power and plug the unit back in. There are 3 lights that indicate the gateway is working Status, Power, and Lora. All three must be on to validate connection.
If a power reset does not reconnect the gateway, the Support Team will continue to troubleshoot as needed.
Do note, when a gateway is down there is a loss of coverage within proximity to where it is installed, and the panic buttons will not be able to make a connection to fire an alert.
