In this article, you will learn how clean the LoRa band and button.
Cleaning the Band
- Prepare cleaning materials: You will need warm water, mild soap or body wash, a soft-bristle brush (ex. a toothbrush), and a clean, soft cloth.
- Remove the panic button from the band and set aside. Rinse the band with warm water: Begin by rinsing the band with warm water to remove surface dust and dirt.
- Clean with soap: Apply a small amount of mild soap or body wash to the soft-bristle brush, then gently scrub the surface of the silicone band, focusing on any stained areas. The brush bristles can help clean dirt from the grooves of the band.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the band with clean water to remove any soap residue, ensuring no product remains on the surface.
- Dry with a soft cloth: Use a clean, soft cloth to gently dry the band. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
- Prevent odors: If the band has developed an odor over time, soak it in a mixture of baking soda and water for a few minutes before cleaning to help eliminate the smell.
- Clean regularly and avoid using harsh cleaners or alcohol, as these can damage the silicone material.
- Reattach the panic button once the band is thoroughly dry.
Cleaning the Button
Using a Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your LoRa button. Don't use products containing bleach or hydrogen peroxide. Avoid getting moisture in any openings, and don’t submerge your LoRa button in any cleaning agents
