The first step to installing the watch band is deciding how to orient the watch straps. Typical watch band installation sees the buckle strap installed on the "12 o'clock" side and the long strap on the "6 o'clock" side. This is personal preference and will not affect the function of the watch.
Attaching the straps to the body of the LoRa device:
- Set the LoRa device face down on a clean work surface so as not to damage the screen.
- Make sure the watch strap is facing upwards. The spring release will be visible and will be on the inside of the strap when worn.
- Hold down one end of the spring bar with a fingertip.
- Insert the other end of the spring bar into one of the post holes.
- Slide the other end of the bar down until the spring is held by the watch.
- Adjust the pin until it pops into place. The strap should not come off by wiggling or pulling.
- Install the strap on the other side of the LoRa device.
Removing the straps from the body of a LoRa device:
- Using a fingernail or small tool, pull the release latch at the base of the watch strap away from the post hole.
- The strap should come off easily. If the release latch is not working or is broken, a watch band removal tool like this one from Amazon will do the trick.
