Can I change the batteries in the Estimote beacons?

It is technically possible to replace the the 2 AA batteries in the beacon. However the following steps are tedious and it is advised you replace the whole beacon.

1. Remove beacon from placement
2. Remove rubber cover
3. Replace 2 AA batteries
4. Put rubber cover back on
5. Attach new adhesive (double-sided tape) to the beacons
6. Place beacon back in original location
